Sun never set on the Tamil diaspora
Yesterday There was a musical cultural event hosted by Thamil sangam in New Jersey. The artists came from Tamil Nadu and I requested the key organizers to have a minute of silence on behalf of the Tamils who are being killed and lost their lives in Srilanka, especially at this time during the peak time of dealth sgoing on indefinittely. One of the artists wanted to do this as well. We talk to the key people and organizers. They agreed, but never made an attempt to even recongnize this as a tragedy or acted as if they have nothing to do with Srilankan Tamils deaths. Especially the great peace negotiator, always smiling and comforting speaker Thamil Selvan's loss.

This is similar to a killing of your younger brother and the older siblings celebrating Diwali on the same day. A minute of devotion of silence for a cause is not a curse. The great organizer of the program told me they did not have time for this. After promissing twice and taking up a written note about what she is going to say she let the Tamils down.
